HOW TO ENTER
Nominating and entering the Defence Technology Exchange - Innovation Awards 2007 has been designed to minimise paperwork for participating companies whilst at the same time providing detailed information for the selection of the finalists to be made fairly and accurately. Who can enter?
The Defence Technology Exchange - Innovation Awards are open to individuals, companies, organisations, universities, research establishments, divisions, public bodies, government and trade associations owned or based in the United Kingdom.
What are the criteria?
Entrants are limited to those products where the transfer of
innovative technology has led, or is expected to lead, to a
benefit within the UK
Who and what can be nominated?
If eligible, you can nominate yourself and your company for an Innovation Award and submit multiple nominations for individual award categories. You can also nominate another company’s product or service for an award and contribute to the recognition of achievement in UK technology businesses.
ENTRY PROCESS
1. Decide which Innovation Award categories best suit your product, innovation or business.
2. Collate copies of any favourable reviews, articles and press releases that may support your innovation.
3. Include any brochures, flyers or other publicity used to describe or promote your innovation.
4. Complete the entry form, selecting the categories you would like to enter, (maximum of 3 categories).
5. Send us your entry form, supporting material and administration fee.

Short-list to be announced and published – 26 October 2007
Networking Development Congress - 22 November 2007
Innovation Awards Reception – 22 November 2007

Terms & Conditions
All Judges decisions are final and no correspondence concerning the judges decisions or the judging process will be entered into after the event. The Judges reserve the right to introduce new award categories after the
closing date and to judge entries within any existing or new category if deemed appropriate by the judges. If entries are entered into new or additional categories there will be no extra cost to the entrant. Entries shall be
capable of being submitted as portable samples, in a filmed visual presentation (video, CD-ROM, DVD) or as software (on CD-ROM, DVD) or as a peer-reviewed scientific paper. Provision of supporting material, which may
include promotional material, to illustrate and explain the application of technology is permitted. Entries shall be submitted only via the official entry form and by the notified deadline. Entries shall be capable of being made
available for public disclosure. Intellectual property rights in the technology/innovation/application submitted for entry are the responsibility of the awards entrant. Awards will be made only to the entrants. The organisers
shall accept no responsibility for any disputes arising as to the ownership of the technology submitted.
